JOB DESCRIPTION

Executive Director, Finance

This is a hands-on position in a dynamic television production unit. As a key member of the Finance Department, you will perform essential finance/accounting duties in an energetic, team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the review and preparation of the annual Budget and quarterly Forecasts;
  • Monthly financial statements (including ultimates and operating highlights);
  • Other duties include various forecast scenarios and deal analysis, assisting in long range plan, detailed market analysis, quarterly recent developments and profit elimination;
  • Additional ad hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in either field.
  • Must possess strong accounting skills and advanced knowledge of MS Excel as well as the ability to interact confidently with senior management.
  • In addition, must be organized, detail oriented, articulate and able to multitask.
  • Prior experience in public accounting and/or television, knowledge of PeopleSoft and Hyperion Planning & Reporting, and a CPA and/or MBA are strongly preferred.
